Lunch with Santa
Saturday, December 6, 2008. Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Dorseyville Fire Hall, Saxonburg Blvd. and 100 Charles Street. Lunch with Santa includes a lunch of a hot dog or chicken nuggets, chips, applesauce and a drink. After lunch they will make 4 or 5 crafts, then will visit with Santa and receive a small gift. Christmas Bake Sale
Holy Family Church, 787 Freeport Road, Creighton, PA is currently accepting orders for baked goods for the Christmas holiday. Poppy seed rolls, apricot rolls, nut rolls, Lekvar rolls, Lady Locks and cold dough cookies. To place an order, call the rectory at 724-224-1626 or fill out the order form in the vestibule of the church. Orders will be ready for pick up on Saturday, December 20 and Sunday, December 21, 2008. Deadline for orders is Monday, December 8.
Breakfast with Santa
On Sunday, December 21, the members and family of West Deer VFD #1 will be hosting a free pancake and sausage breakfast with Santa at their fire station, located at 1520 Saxonburg Blvd, Culmerville. The hours will be from 10 am to 1 pm. Kids will have their chance to give Santa their last minute requests while the parents can tour the station and get a “hands-on” opportunity to view the latest in fire equipment. This is our way of thanking our community for their continuous support as West Deer #1 enters 80 years of dedication, pride and commitment. Reservations are requested.
